So leaving Wellington was quite a big step, but it was all still feeling a bit surreal, kinda like this was all happening around us and we're simply caught up in the ride.
In 2 days time it changes from Surreal, to very Real. We are excited, we've thoroughly enjoyed our time with family and friends, first in Masterton and now in Tauranga.
We're feeling ready, we've packed our bags, weighed them each a couple of times to make sure we're not over the limit :-) I've got my suit all ready to wear on the plane. Two reasons for that (and a third bonus one I just realised), firstly - suits are heavy and don't like being in suitcases (quite odd that really), secondly - apparently people wearing suits get treated better when travelling, and the thirdly bonus is - it may even make a good impression upon our arrival, late on Wednesday evening Japan time.
Anywho it's late and I needs some sleep, so bye for now.
